JUST WAITING FOR WASH DAY

I have been keeping the odd pieces of wood i punch out of the kits in the hope i'd find a use for them so today i got some out of hiding and decided to try at least to make a laundry basket/hamper i think it went ok but my pictures are really bad im sorry about that i'll try again when its day time but heres a few for now its already in place in my willows bathroom i think its only fitting since the wood i used came from that kit.... ok so what can i make next!

Today i was out in my craft shed sorting some things out and taking some pictures i came across some michaels hutches which i recieved in a swap a while ago i still havent done anything with them yet but i can now plan how to change decorate and use them should be fun.




Then theres my tea room which i hadn't been able to finish because of issues most of you already know about so far it is only decorated outside i now have to concentrate on the inside i have been collecting pieces for this for about a year and i recieved a lot of lovely food items from my friends Deb and Glenna now i have to get some furniture items ready maybe the hutches will come in handy for this.

I made some fimo items im really not good with this medium and they kind of look poor compared to deb and glennas work





Here are my house pets in miniature i have tried to collect animals that look similar to my own fur babies



This little fella was a pressie from one of my nephews Jack who's six years old its great when they come and say auntie Rachel i found this for you....so cute lol...



Thought you might like to see some of my houses first up is my Arthur its sweet but to be honest im not happy with how these house kits look after assembly its probably just me and how i put them together although i have to say i have a lot of help from paul



The Bedroom i have had a lot of items in swaps to fill this house and all my others too



The Bathroom also filled with swap items



The Kitchen and yet again filled with swaps from friends and also filled with my reutter minis i love reutter...



Next is the Aster this is home to mr and mrs claus who i have yet to find i enjoyed putting this kit together it was fun i think it looks ok but it still needs more items it also houses some mini swaps.













This was a gift i recieved from paul a few years ago its lovely and sits in the kitchen of mill cottage which was also a gift from paul in 2007 to date its my favourite house.




Mill Cottage i love this house it was a limited addition and i was lucky to get it



The Kitchen i found a pair of wellies in a national trust gift shop they sit by the door ready for molly when she does the gardening she has to keep her feet dry and mud free lol...



The lounge my favourite items are in the cabinet some gorgeous mini porcelain figures and toby jugs

The bedrooms the bedroom furniture was a gift from Deb what a great friend she is thanks Deb..

I GOT THE POINT

Well i finally found out what the metal in my head is, its a piece of the needle that broke off during the operation and they cant remove it so yesterday i sat mulling things over and came to the conclusion i could let it get to me and worry about everything for the rest of my life or i can just try not to think about it and get on with it.... so i
think thats what i will try and do besides i have way too many dollhouses to finish to go anywhere yet thats my motto as silly as it may seem to some lol...

This is going to be short i have a hospital appointment today and im really not looking forward to it, it will kind of put me in a bad place for the rest of the day so im doing early before i have to go.

FLOWER TRELLIS TUTORIAL

Ok you asked for it Susanne so here it is its not really a tutorial as i dont class myself talented enough to give one but this is how i made my flower trellis



First off i used the heart shape punch for leaves and a flower shaped punch. punch out enough shapes to give you fifteen flowers i used four pieces per flower and punch out enough leaves to cover the trellis








Then i used three coffee stirrers to make the trellis idealy you shoul paint or stain the sticks first group them together with a narrow gap between each then glue a small piece of stick across to join them.









Then take some green wire or green thread and wind it around the trellis as desired and glue




Then take four flower shapes and glue two one over the other and then shape the other two using a ball tool cup one more than the other and add the third shape on top of the first and second then glue the fourth smallest cup on top.after making fifteen of the flowers this way put a dot of green paint in the centres of each now you can paint your hearts green for leaves.



















Paint you hearts and lightly rub them with the ball tool then glue them to your trellis



Add the flowers and your done

PUNCHES OF GUILT

Hello again
Today wasnt great i went to physio and i have to say its really not something i like to do i hate hospitals then theres all the questions like an interrogation of sorts but i got through it, theres just thursday to go now so bring it on and lets get it out of the way then maybe i can get some sleep.

I did make something today out of guilt i gathered all of my punches together to count them and organise them and i have a grand total of 67 i didnt realise i had bought so many lol....
this is what i made using just two of them and some coffee stirrers its not as good as some of the work i see on many of your bloggs but its ok for where i need it dont laugh ok...
