MY FIRST FINISHED HUTCH

I hope you are all having a chance to make minis. A few weeks ago i posted pictures of some michaels hutches i have it seems that my stash has built up and i now had eleven hutches that needed finishing i already have at least three in my other houses i may re-do at some point but today i made a start on some of the others i actually managed to fill two and paint another two but i only have a picture of one of them i will take more pictures tomorrow but for now heres a picture of the first completed one i did today i kind of like the way its turned out i was so nervous to work on these in case i spoiled them i know i have quite a few but i have plans for all of them and if it went wrong then i wouldnt be able to get any more as their not available in the UK i have been lucky enough to get mine in swaps from the US well anyway enough prattle heres the picture

I stitched another carpet here's a picture of it im sorry about the poor quality picture but it looks better up close im not sure about adding fringes what do you think?

Today i had a great little find i bought some micro cars they are really very small and will be great for my little boys room i think i might try and make some tiny remote controls so they look like radio control cars

THOU SHALT HAVE A FISHY ON A LITTLE DISHY

I tried making fish for the first time today not wonderful but its a start i mentioned the word fish and all our cats got excited it usually means they get tuna for dinner we like to treat them when possible but once it was obvious there was no real fish its fair to say they were dissapointed Carmen looks kind of mad that there wasnt any for dinner lol....i think i have to make it up to them somehow.

STEP BACK IN TIME

Today was a bank holiday so we took my nephew and his friend to one of our parks they had a few things going on today and it was really quite fun there were a lot of re-enactments from the past including both the American civil war and the English civil war and the kids had a go at archery and sat inside an army tank held musketts and some of the more modern weaponry they enjoyed themselves. some of The pictures are below
I also completed my carpets to send to a friend. i have a lot of parcels to post tomorrow i meant to get them done on saturday but i had forgotten about the bank holiday so im posting them in the morning instead i dont want any others going astray.

Below is a picture of something my mother bought for me i know its a lantern and is probably very useful in its intended purpose but does anyone have any ideas on how i could use this to make a miniature your help is needed guys and i appreciate your ideas on this
