Im a little under the weather this past couple of days i have been feeling really crappy and to top it all i have another hospital appointment in the morning so a really early start to a really long drawn out day...cant wait!!

I did manage to make a plant yesterday from masking tape i havent taken any pictures yet as it was my first attempt and im not sure if im brave enough to show anyone lol...I have been stitching a bit more of the bathroom mat i dont have any pics of that yet either but maybe tomorrow if im feeling ok.

Here are a few basic patterns of mine for you to try i did these a few years ago the first one as you can see could be done in three different ways

I think i have made some good progress so far with my first book i did different variations i changed some of the colours and all in all i think they turned out ok they all have a place in my springwood house i have the two doormats i needed and a spare one for another of my houses



I have included the patterns





These are the patterns for the next set of projects the books patterns are really simple and basic to start but gradually seem to get a little more detailed but yet not too complicated i think they will look quite effective when stitched
I really like this little book and it would be great if your just wanting to get into embroidery i will add the patterns as i go along so you could try them out if you want and not have to buy the book unless you really want to.

I got some hollow plastic eggs from my local shop keeper he gave them to my nephew who passed them on to me below are some pictures.now im a bit useless when it comes to ideas and i really dont have a clue what i could use them for does any body have any ideas i have three packs and dont have a clue lol...









I started my book review today i really liked your ideas ladies and im giving it a go i got my supplies together and im ready to go on the first project. I liked this one because it allows me to just use up all my odd scraps of aida and some odds of threads i had from previous projects

Now i would like to share with you some pictures of one of my other houses this is my mimossa cottage as with everything this house is still not complete i need to get internal doors and furnish three rooms i am going to stitch some carpets and so im going to start my book review with an embroidery book which shouldnt come as a big surprise im sure lol.....I will look through my books and decide tomorrow which one to use first.

MORE BOOKS

I have been into my craft studio/shed this morning and been sorting out my other mini books and oh my god i really didnt realise i had so many im ashamed to say i have all these wonderful books and the most i have done with some of them(most of them lol)is flick through i know im a real bad person for having these great books and not using them i should be slapped with a wet fish....! So i came up with an idea (dont hold your breath its a real long shot) but if i choose one book each month and work through it i should come up with some great minis...mmm thats all fine except the bit i missed out was these books need a certain amount of talent and ability so maybe i should just stop there and just sell them all lol...
Im going to give it a go and see if i can come up with anything.

Whilst going through all these i came across a book that i have had for the longest time it was a gift but i truly have never had a reason or a use for it. Its not 1/12th scale but im sure a clever person could easily adapt the patterns thing is im not that clever so i thought someone else could use it. Its in excellent condition its only been looked through twice and been kept in a smoke free environment so if anyone would be interested in swapping then its yours just let me know as i only have one you have to be quick not to miss out.


I also have a duplicate of this one that is a miniature book and same thing goes for this one if anyone wants to swap its yours just let me know.
